The Spiderlok Wave sail starts it 6th season with a new look and many new features. Jeffrey Henderson worked with new Hot Sails Maui rider Luke Hargreaves all winter long to finalize the new developments. The requested changes included reducing the "pull" when overpowered, and eliminating any "wobble" during big wave bottom turns. This required reducing shape in the head along the main vertical shaping seam and adding a new vertical shaping seam forward. This results in the draft moving forward up top for a smoother ride, without loosing much power. We designed a new luff panel and went full length on the #2 batten. The foot batten has been lifted to allow more radical maneuvers while eliminating those leg scrapes, and allowing the sail to roll up easier. In addition the center of the web has been opened for better visibility and the clew patch reinforcing has been increased. I have reintroduced the 4.2m, 4.7m, & 6.3m sizes to complete the line. Everyone from team to testers is stoked with this "new" sail. The new "look" is contemporary and we still maintain the lightest weight sail in the market.
Our best selling wave sail just got better!
